Slight change of direction
Originally I was going to stop for an evening in Taupo on my way back up north from Wellington but then I received a call from a friend saying she would be in Vegas that night. I changed my plans slightly and organized some rotorua accommodation so that I could catch up with her as it had been quite a few months since I last saw her. I had never spent much time there as I normally stay in Taupo when I’m travelling through so it was quite nice to have a change and check out a different place. We even discovered a great little restaurant that we had dinner at.
