Fuad El-Hibri Entrepreneur and Businessman
The most recent recipient of the Ernst Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award is Fuad El-Hibri. Mr. El-Hibri has served as an executive, chair, president or CEO on many different boards in many different companies. Beginning at Citigroup as a banker moving into mergers and acquisitions, Mr. El-Hibri then moved on to the biopharmaceutical industry. He has also successfully built and sold three mobile telecommunications companies but is mostly known for his work with Emergent Biosolutions Inc. where he sits as Chairman and CEO with ten percent ownership. The main focus of EBS is to preserve life and holds the only FDA licensed and approved vaccine for Anthrax.
