Study for a Texas Real Estate License Online
In Texas, the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) requires all real estate agents to complete 210 course hours before being eligible for their license. Many colleges and trade schools throughout the state are accredited to provide the courses, but not all students are able to study full time or travel to and from a campus every day. Whether they already have a full time job, or small children at home, the campus environment is not realistic for some. If you wish to study online, at your own pace, there are a few options. DFW Real Estate Academy and Texas Real Estate School both offer fully accredited pre-license and continuing education courses via the REcampus online system. Purvis Real Estate Training Institute offers courses via the 360Training Virtual University setting. In both scenarios, the aspiring real estate agent will choose one or more courses to complete at a time, at their own pace. Once they have completed all the necessary coursework, they can apply to the TREC in order to take the state exam.
