No warranty on a RV from private seller

In most cases when purchasing from a private party the price will be much lower compared to buying from an RV dealer. But, there can be a certain amount of jeopardy involved in purchasing from a private buyer. There is no warranty being offered and if the motorhome, fifth wheel or travel trailer you just bought has a major problem you could be out hundreds of dollars. It is always a good idea to have the RV unit scrutinized at the local RV service shop before making the deal.
