Get a Registered Agent
When you are looking for a new bookkeeper to help you with your Business Activity Statement, you need to make sure that you are getting one who is licensed. New laws state that only an accountant or bookkeeper who is a registered BAS agent can help you with those services. It’s easier for you to have all of your financial services prepared by one person. That person will be familiar with your business needs, and can help you plan which way to go, financially. Not all bookkeepers are registered BAS agents, so if that’s what, you want to make sure that you check that the person is registered.
